Dialog Unit Construction, Scheduling, and Access
|
• Dialog Units are constructed using the Dialog Book Builder tool in Galileo. The Builder provides a wizard that makes it easy to follow the steps necessary to construct a Unit.
• To simplify the construction process, the Builder enables the user to build a unit from a template. This makes it easy to
construct a series of units including common elements.
• A Unit is scheduled using the Bulk Scheduler in Galileo. Scheduling requires that the user indicate the start date and end date planned for Unit implementation and the staff members who are intended to be able to access the Unit.
• A scheduled Unit appears on the Class Calendar. Clicking on the Unit title opens the unit for use. Scheduled Units also appear on the staff Dashboard.
• Dialogs included in a Unit may be bulk scheduled or scheduled by teachers on the Class Calendar. This ensures flexibility in Unit implementation.
